Cards

Cards

Complete guide to the gacha card system: summoning, claiming, library, proposals, and generals.

Overview

EnderBot features a gacha-style card collection system with over 12,000 unique cards from anime, manga, and video games. Use /summon to generate 3 random cards and pick 1 to claim. Build your collection, trade with others, and complete your favourite series.

Every card has a character, series, owner, a zodiac title based on the year it was claimed, and can have multiple images. Cards are the foundation of many game mechanics, from trading to collection milestones.

PropertyValue
CharacterThe anime/manga/game character depicted on the card.
SeriesThe franchise or show the character belongs to.
Zodiac TitleA title based on the year the card was claimed (e.g. Year of the Dragon).
VariantsThe character's artworks, named and graded by rarity; submitted by the community through the proposal system.
OwnerThe player who currently owns the card.

Vocabulary

The vocabulary changed when variants arrived. Here is what each word means today.

PropertyValue
CardThe copy you own in your inventory. A card carries a character and one specific variant.
CharacterThe library entry. Historically, card, character and unique all meant the same thing.
VariantA named artwork of a character, with its own rarity. A character can have up to 20.
UniqueNow counted as distinct variants owned. Series completion still counts characters.
Both counts live side by side: characters tell you whether a series is complete, variants tell you how deep your collection goes.

Variants

Every character owns one or more variants: distinct, named artworks, each with its own rarity. A summon rolls a variant, and the claimed card keeps that variant for good.

Rarities go from R to UR. Animated artworks (GIF) are reserved for the two highest rarities, SSR and UR.

RarityDetail
RThe most common one, the default rarity of any variant.
SUncommon.
SRRare.
SSRVery rare, can be animated.
URThe rarest, can be animated.
  • A character is capped at 20 variants.
  • The wishlist accepts a specific variant on top of a character or a series.

Summoning

Summoning is the primary way to obtain new cards. Use /summon to generate 3 random cards from the entire library. You then pick 1 of the 3 to add to your collection. Summons that are not claimed expire after 60 minutes.

MechanicDetail
Cooldown20 minutes per summon charge
Max Stacks2 summon charges can be stacked at once
Multi-SummonUse /summon with the times parameter (1-7) to summon multiple times at once using your stacks
ExpiryUnclaimed summons expire after 60 minutes
Reset 1,000 card essence to add 1 summon + 1 claim stack
Card EssenceEach summon earns card essence based on your level and time since your last summon

The values above are the free-account ones. Card premium raises them: 4 stacked summons and claims at Tier 1, 6 at Tier 2; the unclaimed-summon window goes from 1 hour to 12 hours at Tier 1 and 24 hours at Tier 2; and Tier 2 draws 4 cards per summon instead of 3. The Sushi of Fate cook buff adds cards on top, up to 6 per summon.

Claiming

After summoning 3 cards, you can claim one of them to add it to your collection. Claiming has its own separate cooldown and stack system, independent from summoning.

MechanicDetail
Cooldown16 minutes per claim charge
Max Stacks2 claim charges can be stacked at once
Multi-ClaimWith stacked claims, you can claim multiple summons back-to-back without waiting

Library

The Card Library is a community-maintained database of all characters and series available in the card system. You can browse, search, and contribute to it. The library is also accessible via the web at /library.

  • Browse series to see all characters from a franchise.
  • Search for specific characters across all series.
  • View all available card images for any character.
  • See which players own the most copies of a character or series.
  • Create personal card collections to organize your cards with custom names.

The full library is also available on the website, where you can browse series, characters, and submit proposals with a visual interface.

Wishlist

The wishlist lets you get a private DM the moment a card you want is summoned by anyone in the server. Add the characters (or entire series) you are chasing and let the bot watch summons for you.

Add a single character with /wishlist add, or a whole franchise with /wishlist add-series. Series wishlists are a premium perk. Manage everything from /wishlist list.

Notification modes

  • Each — get a DM every time a matching card is summoned (default).
  • Once — get a single DM, then the entry auto-disables.
  • Toggle any entry on (🔔) or off (🔕) from /wishlist list without deleting it.
You are only notified for summons in servers you are a member of. The DM includes a jump link straight to the summon message.

Proposals

The proposal system allows the community to contribute new characters, update existing entries, or merge duplicates in the library. Proposals go through a voting process before being applied.

  • Create proposals to add new characters or series to the library.
  • Update existing entries with corrected information or new images.
  • Merge duplicate characters or series entries together.
Voting on proposals requires level 1,000 OR ownership of 1,000+ cards. Each player can upvote or downvote a proposal.

Accepted proposals reward the proposer with card essence. Creation proposals earn more than updates. Rewards can be claimed monthly via /library proposals rewards.
