Cards

A draw paid with a charge, a window to claim it, and a currency that buys nothing anywhere else.

In short

Cards are not a collection bolted onto the game: this is the one system whose currency, card essence, trades for nothing else. What goes in stays in.

A draw costs one charge. A charge comes back every 20 min and only 2 of them stack without premium. Each draw turns up 3 face-down cards: they are not yours yet. You have 1 h to claim, one every 16 min. Once the window closes, the whole draw expires.

Rarity is not decided by the character but by the variant drawn with them: one character holds up to 20 of them, spread over 5 rarities. The same card can come out common or legendary. A UR lands in 0,15 % of draws, an SSR in 0,85 %.

Card essence is the currency of the system, and it cannot be bought. It drops when another player witnesses your draw, up to 50 essence for them and as much for you, and it is spent to restart a draw without waiting, 1 000 a restart.

Two dark mana spells open a draw for the whole server rather than for you alone. The Ritual costs 40 dark mana at level 1 200 and fires only once 8 players have joined it; the Soul Sanctuary costs 200 at level 2 400 and reads the 32 most active members of the server. Both drop their draws in the channel one at a time, and a card taken from one runs on its own 6 h timer: it never spends the claim you were saving.

The character catalogue is not written by the studio, it is proposed by the players. An accepted creation pays 250 essence, a duplicate merge 100, a correction 50: it is the only income in the system that owes nothing to luck.

The ecosystem

What triggers a draw, what it gives back, and the path by which part of it returns. The violet arrows are the flows of matter.

How a draw runs
  1. 1 The charge 1 / 20 min Drawing spends one. It comes back on its own and banks up to 2 (6 with premium).
  2. 2 The draw 3 cards That many characters come up face up, 4 with premium, 6 with a Sushi of Fate.
  3. 3 The window 1 h How long you have to choose. Past it the draw expires and only a Summon Revival wakes it. 24 h with premium.
  4. 4 The claim 1 card You keep one, the rest are gone. Claiming spends a second reserve: one every 16 min, 2 banked (6 with premium).

The rarity table

A card has no level, it has a rarity, rolled along with its variant. This table is the same for every character, and it alone decides what a collection is worth.

Rarity Chance Frequency Animation
Rarity of a variantrolled per card, never editable after
Common 78 %··
Rare 16 %one draw in 6·
Very rare 5 %one draw in 20·
Epic 0,85 %one draw in 118allowed
Legendary 0,15 %one draw in 667allowed

Animation is not a bonus, it is a right. Only the top 2 rarities may carry an animated image, and the server checks it on the file's bytes, never on its extension.

A character holds up to 20 variants, and nothing forces every rarity to be served: a character may hold nothing but commons. Rarity lives on the variant, not on the character.

What premium changes

Premium does not touch the rarity table: neither the odds nor what can come out. It only changes the throughput, meaning how many draws fit in a day and how long you have to claim them.

The Sushi of Fate is cooked, not bought: it pushes a draw past 4 cards, up to 6. It is the only row in this table a free player can go beyond.

An empty cell is not a disguised zero, it is a perk the tier does not open at all. And nothing here grants essence: it is earned in play, and spent at the same price by everyone, 1 000 a restart.

The rhythm of a draw

Charge, reserve, restart: three words the game shows without ever defining them. A charge comes back every 20 min and a claim every 16 min, and what you do not spend is not lost, it banks, up to two of each.

01
The charge
A draw spends one charge. The timer runs on its own, whether or not you are at the keyboard: one charge every 20 min.
  • Spending a charge does not restart the clock from zero, it picks up the grid it was already on.
  • Claiming a card is a second charge on the same principle, one every 16 min.
02
The reserve
The timer does not stop at zero. It keeps running and mints one charge per full cooldown gone by, 2 at most without premium and 6 with it. That backlog is the reserve, and a draw spends it before making you wait.
  • One charge banked per 20 min elapsed, counted from the timer and not from your last visit.
  • Once 2 charges are banked the timer stops paying: a full reserve is time thrown away.
  • Claims bank the same way, 2 of them without premium and 6 with it.
03
The restart
>summon reset pays 1 000 card essence to buy the wait back, and it gives you a draw and a claim, not just the draw.
  • Refused while a charge is still banked: the reserve is spent first.
  • Refused once the timer has elapsed, since the draw is free at that point.
  • So it only ever applies at the one moment it is worth paying for: reserve empty, timer still running.
  • Premium raises both reserves, to 6 draws and 6 claims: the same rhythm, a longer leash.
  • A restart is the only way to buy the wait back, and it costs 1 000 card essence, a currency nothing outside the card system produces.

The two collective spells

Dark mana opens draws that are not yours: they land in the channel one at a time and anyone present can take one. A card claimed there runs on its own 6 h timer, apart from your ordinary claim rhythm, so it never eats into it.

Ritual
Level 1 200 · one cast every 24 h
The price
40
A channel to cast it in. The caster pays the bill alone.
What it opens
8
Nothing happens until 8 players have pressed join, then 8 draws fall one after the other, one per participant. Each participant waits 8 h before joining another.
Soul Sanctuary
Level 2 400 · one cast every 48 h
The price
20032
A server with enough life in it: the spell reads its most active members of the past year and refuses to cast below the count.
What it opens
10 → 30
Between 10 and 30 draws, decided by the guild structure's productivity, plus a payout of card essence to the caster. The server waits 6 h before hosting another.
  • The two spells unlock at level 1 200 and level 2 400: they are the late reading of the card system, not its entry door.
  • A ritual participant cannot join another for 8 h, and a server hosts one sanctuary every 6 h.

Where a card goes

A claimed card is not consumed, it stays. What varies is what you do with it. One character holds up to 20 variants spread over five rarities, and each of these outlets has a page of its own.

The collection 20 variants A claimed card is yours for good: nothing takes it back, nothing wears it down. It sorts by character, by series or by rarity, and that is where the 5 rarities are seen one by one rather than as a total. Stays with you
The library 250 essence The catalogue is proposed, reviewed and corrected by the players. A duplicate merge pays 100 essence, a correction 50, and this income is the only one in the system that owes nothing to chance. → Written by the players
The wishlist 100 characters It changes no odds, it warns. A free player lists 25 characters, a subscriber far more, and the top tier also opens 10 whole series: aiming at a series saves listing its characters one by one. Warns you on a draw
Card essence 1 000 essence Every witness of a draw takes 10 to 50 essence, and the summoner takes as much; a draw accepts 3 witnesses, and the witness also lands a free draw 1 % of the time. An accepted proposal pays up to 250. Outside the system, essence is worth nothing. Money out
