Altars

Overview

The altar system lets you sacrifice resources in exchange for powerful blessings. Different altars accept different resource types, and higher sacrifices unlock stronger tiers of blessings.

Each altar grants unique bonuses that permanently boost your efficiency in the corresponding job or mana-related activities.

Altar Types

There are 5 altars. The Mana altar accepts mana directly, the 3 job altars accept resources from their respective jobs, and the Crypt of Ikaros accepts dark mana.

Sacrificing

Sacrificing resources at an altar unlocks blessing tiers. The Mana altar has a max sacrifice of 1,500,000 mana, and every tier also asks for a minimum global level. Job altars use the total value of sacrificed resources and ask for a minimum job level.

Each resource you sacrifice has an internal value. The tier is based on the cumulative total value of all resources sacrificed at that altar.

Crypt of Ikaros

Beneath the Forgotten Pyramid lies the Crypt of Ikaros, the shadowed twin of the Mana altar. Its seal only breaks once you reach tier 8 on the Mana altar, and it accepts dark mana instead of mana.

Ikaros grants 12 blessings, capped at a total sacrifice of 150,000 dark mana. Bonuses accumulate gradually: the more dark mana you offer, the closer the next blessing gets.

The first 8 blessings act on dark mana regeneration, your maximum dark mana and your spells. Tiers 9 to 12 open new dark mana drop sources.
