Overview
Runic modifiers are special stats that can be applied to tools using runes at the Runic Anvil. They provide permanent bonuses like extra power, critical hit rate, or critical hit damage.
The number of runic modifier slots depends on the tool's quality. Common tools have no slots, while Uncommon tools get 1 slot, Rare gets 2, and Epic or higher get 3. Each slot holds one modifier with a randomly rolled stat and value.
The Runic Anvil
The Runic Anvil is the dedicated crafting station for applying runic modifiers to your tools. Access it with the /ebrunic command.
Select a rune from your inventory and a tool to modify. The anvil will show you a preview of the operation before you confirm. Some runes require you to choose a specific modifier slot or stat type.
The Runic Anvil is an advanced station that must be unlocked. It requires Furnace Lv15, Crafting Table Lv15, and Jeweler at max level (Lv7). Use /ebstation to track your progress.
Available Runes
Runes are consumable items obtained from comet drops. Each rune has a different effect on your tool's runic modifiers.
| Rune | Effect |
|---|---|
| Adds a new runic modifier to an empty slot. The stat type and value are randomly rolled. Fails if the tool has no empty slots. | |
| Removes a chosen runic modifier from the tool, freeing up the slot for a new one. | |
| Re-rolls the stat type and value of a chosen runic modifier. The new stat will always be different from the other modifiers on the tool. |
Modifier Stats
Runic modifiers can roll one of three stat types. Each stat boosts a different aspect of your tool's performance.
| Stat | Effect |
|---|---|
| ⚔️ Power | Increases the tool's base gathering power, yielding more resources per action. |
| 🎯 Critical Rate | Increases the chance of a critical hit, which multiplies your gathering yield. |
| 💥 Critical Value | Increases the damage multiplier when a critical hit occurs. |
